I was born and raised in Southern California (Azusa) where I grew up playing various sports but always loved and enjoyed playing football. I went on to play football in college at a small school in Illinois where I graduated with my degree in Exercise Science. It’s also around the time I started to discover my passion for coaching/training in CrossFit. I had done CrossFit off and on throughout HS and college, but wasn’t until my final year of college that I joined Crossfit PFT and later started interning before becoming a coach there. In 2019, I moved back to California and coached at Crossfit Glendora for two years before moving to Phoenix summer of 2021. Through all of these experiences, I have loved getting to know the community and have enjoyed the journey of growing as a coach and leader each day!
Seeing my athletes & clients do what they previously thought was no longer possible (doing a pull-up, walking on their hands, or lifting "heavy" things) or seeing the joy in their eyes when they hit a new PR in a lift or a workout is what motivates me! Being able to train and help people, of various backgrounds, push themselves to their limit in exercise and then seeing that effort and confidence translate in the rest of their daily life is what motivates me to show up and be the best I can be.
