Our group CrossFit classes are the heart of what we do here at Hammer. We believe there is no better program out there to improve the health and longevity of the general public, and we strive to deliver the best coaching and programming in the valley!
Here are some of the principles we practice:
* Mechanics --> Consistency --> Intensity – A person is only as strong as their foundation, and we believe in prioritizing movement quality prior to loading them with heavy weights
* Constant Variance – The world is unpredictable, and so is our program. Here at CFIS, you will rarely perform the same workouts twice. Some days are heavy, some are long, but all are enjoyable with the right group of people
* Infinitely Scalable – Our workouts are designed knowing that everyone is at a different level in their own fitness journey. Whether you’re a hardcore veteran or brand new to CrossFit, we can manage the workout to fit your needs/abilities
All of our CrossFit classes are led by one of our outstanding coaches, and follow a planned progression of roughly 60min in duration. The coach will provide an overview of the day’s work, then lead a group warm-up. After that, they’ll instruct and demonstrate the day's workout, generally consisting of a strength/skill piece, followed by a conditioning piece. Coaches also supervise and correct as needed throughout the workout. All classes end with a team breakdown and light stretch.
The workouts won't be easy, but getting to the gym shouldn't be hard. Hammer CrossFit has convenient locations all around the valley, easily accessible from the city's 101 and 202 freeways.
