Crock Pot Turkey Chili

Ingredients:These are meant to be a guideline. I don't weigh or measure ingredients any more than I have to. Have fun and add/remove whatever ingredients you choose.

  1. 2lb Ground Turkey, browned and drained
  2. 6 cups diced tomatoes
  3. 3 cups Black Beans
  4. 3 cups Kidney Beans
  5. 3 Bell Peppers, diced (I go the stoplight route: red, yellow, and green)
  6. 1 Red Onion, diced
  7. 6oz Mild Cheddar Cheese
  8. 2 tbsp each of cumin & chili powder
  9. Garlic powder, black pepper, hot sauce, and/or salt to taste


  1. Prepare tomatoes, peppers, and onions by dicing into small cubes
  2. Brown the turkey in a skillet (8-10min), draining excess fat if you choose
  3. Combine meat, beans, veggies, and spices in a large Crock Pot
  4. Set on ‘low’ setting for 4-6hrs, stirring occasionally
  5. Add remaining spices to your personal taste preference
  6. Serve w/ grated cheese, sour cream, chives, bacon bits, or whatever your little heart desires!

Makes 8 Servings: 430 Calories Each
