Protein-Packed Overnight Oatmeal

Oatmeal is typically thought of as a hot breakfast choice, and in the Arizona summer, that’s definitely not an option. This healthy take on oatmeal is refrigerated overnight, and contains just the right amounts of complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and muscle-building protein to start your day off right! Bonus points for simplicity!Ingredients:

  1. ½ cup Rolled Oats
  2. ½ cup Milk
  3. ½ cup Greek Yogurt
  4. ½ cup frozen mixed berries
  5. 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  6. 1 tbsp chia seeds
  7. 1 scoop Ascent Vanilla protein powder

Directions:Like many of the recipes we’ve shared in these newsletters, this one is very easy! Simply combine all the ingredients together in a mason jar or similar container and shake or stir until you have an even consistency. Throw in the fridge and let it set for 6-8hrs (it’ll keep for about a week or so). When you’re ready to eat, grab a spoon and enjoy!Makes 2 Servings: 325 Calories Each
